Much better than I thought

First of all I got this to fit in a backpack and it was much bigger than I thought. I was a little dissapointed at first. Then when I turned it on I noticed how cool the air seemed and how much of a wide area it covers. If you put it close to you, you will feel air on pretty much your entire body if you turn the oscillator on. Not that much power though but enough to say it has replaced another fan I had and that fan has more power. Now I have to find a smaller one.

Very cool fan!

Very cool fan! Can be mounted on wall or easily removed to set on a flat surface. Timer is a nice feature as is the swivel to change direction of the air flow. In the picture the fan looks smaller than it actually is. Extremely pleased with this purchase! Priced fairly. Better than expected. Even considering buying another one.

So silent,

A friend suggested this fan for my office and I'm glad to have taken her advise. Not only is this fan virtually silent (on the lowest speed), the movement of the front panel keeps a direct air from constantly blowing on me. I love it and I'm thinking of getting another for home.

great little fan

i purchased this fan for my home office. we do not have air conditioning on the first floor and it can get very humid with the windows open. this little fan helps to alleviate some of the humidity and keep air moving in this small space. i planne d on mounting it to the wall next to the window but so far have found that it works well sitting on top of my monitor. the ocillating feature is nice also, not too strong, pretty quiet too. also, i saw the same exact model on sale at BJs Wholesale Club for $5 more than I purchased it on Amazon. Very happy with this buy.

Great Little Fan

This is a great little fan - does the job it's meant to ... and more! The low speed is whisper quiet and provides a very gentle breeze; the medium speed is also nice and quiet and provides a very ample breeze; the high speed - watch out and hold on to small children! The high speed provides a nice, strong 'wind' that really provides the function it was intended. Sure, you can hear it - it's a FAN! The oscillating feature can't be beat. And the 2-hour timer is great in case you don't want to have the fan going long after you're asleep. This great compact fan is a very good value for the money! We're using this fan to supplement the A/C and purchased 2 at the same time. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another if I needed it.

Perfect

I bought this during the Friday Sale. I am very pleased with this fan. It is whisper quiet. No noise at all. You have to get right next to it to hear it. Blows out powerful cool air for such a small fan. It has a timer but I do not use it. If you needed a timer it would be great.Not to mention it is off season now for a fan in Chicago and you won't find one anywhere. Great price and quick delivery from Amazon as usual.

It Blows Air

Apparently, so far I'm the only reviewer who bought this to cool down AND warm their home. We have one warmer room. This fan is plenty powerful enough to distribute the heat to other areas of the house.
